Cube LTD Race

The Cube LTD Race isn't the same mountainbike it was 2 to 3 years ago. Manufacturers have started believing in the possibilities of aluminium again, which has resulted in extensive research being done into how light, rigid and comfortable a frame can be. Cube uses advanced design software to create optimal tube shapes.

By applying these techniques in the cycling industry, frames can be made with characteristics which come close to those of their carbon counterparts, albeit with a slight penalty to weight.

Walk around the bike, and one of the first things you'll notice is just how clean it looks. All the gear cables are routed internally, protecting them from harm. For many, mountainbiking is synonymous to mud, water, and cold, which are usually detrimental to shifting quality. This makes the internal routing a nice and thoughtful touch!

Note: All the bikes sold by Mantel come with the front brake on the left, and the rear brake on the right of the handlebar. If you’re accustomed to another set-up, then consider having this changed by an expert, or take your time to get used to the current set-up.
