The concept of the Castelli Free Aero RC is fairly simple. Firstly, Castelli has taken their best seat pad, the Progetto X2 Air Seamless, which offers great saddle comfort on long rides. This chamois is surrounded by a supportive short that provides good muscle compression. Other than that, everything that is not absolutely necessary has been eliminated. This has resulted, among other things, in fewer panels and, therefore, fewer seams to reduce the chance of friction. In total, the short itself has only 5 panels, while the previous model had 10.
The Castelli Free Aero RC has minimalist bib straps, which offer maximum airflow and remain flat on the shoulders. In the centre of the back there is a small, handy pocket. There are raw-cut edges in several places on this bib short: at the waistband, for extra stretch and comfort; the leg ends also have raw-cut edges and stay perfectly in place without the need for an elastic band or grippers. Finally, there are reflective stripes on the backs of the legs, and all logos are either embroidered or embossed for durability.
The Castelli Free Aero RC bib short for men is made for racing at the highest level but also offers comfort for any ride and any rider.
The Castelli Free Aero RC bib short is equipped with the Progetto X2 Air Seamless seat pad. This is a pro-level chamois that provides maximum comfort during long bike rides. It features a new, seamless skin care layer that feels soft against the skin and reduces friction during cycling. The pad also has a separate saddle-shaped cushioning layer, which consists of high-density foam and gel inserts, with excellent cushioning as a result.

Tight pants with very good chamois
Sits great while cycling. No discomfort at 100 km ride. It is very tight, so that stretch marks are visible for a long time after cycling. According to the table, I need M but ended up in XL at 1.85 and 82 kg. The suspenders are very short.

Once you try "Castelli free aero," you're sold.
-These pants are fairly tight to put on, but when you have them on they fit like a glove. The muscle support effect of these pants is evident. -Very comfortable chamois, perfect for longer rides. -These pants are more expensive than other cycling pants in my closet, but from experience I know by now (free aero race 4) that they also easily last 2 to 3x as long. ...Price/quality/comfort unbeatable! -Slightly longer legs are "in", but for someone with relatively short legs like me, the legs really reach almost to the knees.
