This jacket is perfect for when you want to go hard on colder days. The Castelli Alpha Flight RoS is made for the cold.
Double layer, double functionality
The jacket is manufactured with a double layer, the "Alpha construction". The fabric has a high flexibility that allows a small amount of cool air to pass through the jacket, this prevents the jacket from getting too warm under brisk exertion. The Polartec Alpha layer provides insulation without compromising breathability. Moreover, the jacket is particularly lightweight. At the back, Nano Flex Extra Dry fabric has been used. This fabric provides sufficient insulation but allows sweat to escape easily.
Functional
The jacket has a close fit that keeps the shirt from flapping in the wind. The YKK zip makes it easy to open and close the jacket during exercise. There is a silicone trim at the bottom to keep the jacket securely in place. There are also holes at the back where sweat and excessively warm air can be vented, these are designed with a reflective accent, making you more visible in low visibility.
