Easy-on, easy-off frame design and great handling
The Cannondale Adventure Neo 3.1 has a distinctive frame with a low step-through design which makes it easy to get on and off the bike. The downtube of this e-bike is extra thick to ensure the rigidity of the frame. As a result, the Adventure Neo 3.1 offers highly responsive handling. The aluminium front fork also contributes to this. The absence of suspension in the fork has the advantage that the bike steers even better. Additional comfort comes from the 55 mm wide tyres, which easily cope with bumps. That being said, the most striking comfort-enhancing element is the seat post: This e-bike has a Tranz-X dropper post, which springs for extra comfort, yet the main advantage is that it can be lowered from the handlebars, without tools. This makes it very easy to get on and off the bike. Because of the relatively short seat tube, with a long seat post, this bike is suitable for a wide range of body lengths. As the seat tube length is used as the frame size, these sizes are low for this bike. It is, therefore, important to check which frame size is appropriate for your height.

E-bike technology
This electric bike is fitted with a Bosch Active Line Plus mid-mounted motor that delivers 50Nm, allowing you to conquer country roads and gently sloping terrain with ease. The motor is powered by the integrated 400Wh PowerTube battery. This motor and battery deliver a realistic range of approximately 80 km on a single charge, in perfect conditions even up to 140 km.

Shifting and braking
The hydraulic disc brakes on the Cannondale Adventure Neo 3.1 provide reliable braking performance in all conditions. Not only do they offer lots of braking power, they are also well modulated. Shifting goes through the 9-speed rear derailleur, which gives you a very large gearing range to allow you to find the right gear no matter the circumstances. As a derailleur system does not have a closed chain case, it does attract dirt more easily. Cleaning it once in a while is therefore recommended.

Other components
This e-bike has lots of small convenient features, some of those in the frame. The internal cable routing, for example, gives the bike a clean look. Another special feature is the mounting points for bottle cages on both sides of the steering head. Furthermore, all the components you would expect from an electric bike are incorporated: stylish mudguards, ergonomic handlebars with comfortable grips and a stable luggage rack. One thing that is missing is a lock; if you want to mount one, you can purchase it separately.
