The e-bike with the easiest get-on-get-off system
Thanks to its cleverly chosen components, it's fair to say that the Cannondale Adventure Neo 3 EQ is the e-bike that's easiest to get on and off. This is due both to the frame with the low instep and, in particular, to the seat post - this is a suspension dropper post, the kind you see on mountain bikes. It has a lever to adjust the saddle height. If you have trouble getting on, put the saddle in the lowest position, and when you're cycling adjust it to your ideal riding height. This makes this bike suitable for anyone looking for a comfortable ride and particularly those who wish to increase their mobility.

Bosch parts
Bosch has been making reliable and smooth e-bike parts for many years. It comes as no surprise, therefore, that Cannondale have chosen a mid-mounted motor and intube battery from this brand. Thus, in this bike comfort and reliability are very well balanced indeed.

Frame, fork and wheels
The defining feature of the Cannondale Adventure Neo 3 EQ is its frame with a low instep and a suspension dropper post. With this dropper post you can adjust the saddle height, which makes it easy to get on and then adjust the saddle to the right riding height. The extra-thick down tube makes this bike very stable, which ensures pleasant and reliable handling. The material thickness of the tubes varies because of the Smartform C3 technology. As a result, the bike is relatively light. Yes, Cannondale have managed to make the Adventure Neo 3 EQ a very pleasant bike to ride.
A suspension fork with 63 mm of travel. Any shocks from bumps in the road are absorbed by the suspension seat post and the 55 mm wide tyres. On this e-bike, therefore, you will find that every ride is a comfortable one.
Furthermore, this bike performs very well in terms of steering thanks to its strong, stable frame and wide tyres. The thru-axle in the front wheel also contributes to this. This makes the front wheel stiffer, which makes steering just that little bit tighter.
The relatively short seat tube and long seat post make these bikes suitable for a wide range of body lengths. The seat tube length is used as the frame size, which explains why it is low for this model. You should therefore check which frame size is appropriate for your height.

E-bike technology
This e-bike is fitted with a 400Wh PowerTube battery neatly integrated in the down tube and connected with a Bosch Active Line Plus mid-motor that delivers 50Nm, allowing you to conquer the countryside and gently sloping terrain with ease. These components provide a realistic range of approximately 100 km on a single charge, in perfect conditions even up to 160 km.

Shifting and braking
In order to give the Adventure Neo 3 EQ the reliable feel typical of a comfortable electric city bike, Cannondale have opted for hydraulic disc brakes from Shimano. Powerful and well modulated - these are their key features. The 9-speed Shimano Altus rear derailleur has a 327% gear range, slightly more than the average gear hub. This e-bike is therefore perfect for a nice tour during the weekend.

Other parts
The luxurious look of the Cannondale Adventure Neo 3 EQ is complemented by its accessories. The colour of the saddle and grips contrasts beautifully with that of the frame. The stable, minimalist luggage carrier also gives the bike a sleek appearance. The lighting set ensures that you are always clearly visible. This is a very complete e-bike indeed, except perhaps for the fact that no lock is fitted as standard, although the mounting holes are present. If you want to mount a lock, it will have to be ordered separately.

Maintenance of the battery
If possible, charge your battery at room temperature. If outside temperatures drop below zero, we recommend removing the battery and storing it inside.
Do not store the battery empty. If you plan not to use your e-bike for a longer period of time, we recommend storing the battery at room temperature around 60% full. Charge the battery occasionally (once a month) to ensure that it lasts as long as possible.

Maintenance of gear parts and brakes
We recommend a regular cleaning of the chain and derailleur for optimum durability and efficiency. As for the hydraulic disc brakes, we recommend cleaning those hardly ever, as contamination with grease and detergents may impair braking performance. If you do want to clean the brake discs, we recommend doing so with a dry paper towel. Try not to touch the discs with your fingers.

Tyre pressure
Having the right tyre pressure is important. The wrong tyre pressure may cause punctures, more wear, rim damage when the pressure is low, and uncomfortable handling. For most e-bikes, tyre pressure is between 3.5 and 6 bar. The recommended pressure for your tyres should be printed on their sidewall.

General maintenance tip
While you can do a lot of maintenance work yourself, it may be wise to have it checked by a bicycle mechanic.
