Through the use of vulcanised rubber, the saddle top can resist any weather circumstance. The top rests on sturdy steel rails, which further improves comfort.
Saddle shape
This saddle has a semi-round rear which makes it exceptionally suited for people who move their hips slightly while cycling. Because this is a semi-round saddle, it provides these cyclists with ample support while still ensuring enough freedom of movement compared to a flat saddle.
Flexibility
This is an S shape saddle, which means the saddle’s rear is higher and lower in the centre. This S shape enables people with a less flexible spine to still assume a sporty cycling posture. This is related to the pelvic tilt: someone with an inflexible spine has more difficulty tilting the pelvis.
Cutout
This saddle has a cutout which provides pressure relief for people that are quick to experience a sore posterior.

This is NOT an alternative to the B17!
Ordered this saddle to replace my classic B17 which I am very satisfied with. The water resistance made me choose this one. I assumed the same in-bike and connecting comfort as with my B17. Alas. Never had any saddle pain, but this saddle is downright HARD! It does not adjust to my anatomy. Result: very painful pressure points and even, a wound! From my experience and compared to the B17, a mis-buy. Too bad, go for the. Leather variant, with which I have never had a problem.

Am happy with this purchase. The seat is good and feels firm. After about 250km, the saddle has not yet fully moulded itself to my backside, but am confident that this will happen in time
