Description
The BMC Roadmachine X is the gravel racer that has already caused a lot of enthusiastic responses. And thats not surprising; the frame of the Roadmachine X is the same as the rest of the Roadmachine series. However, it has slightly wider tyres.
With the 34 mm tyres this is not a pure gravel bike. On the rough gravel roads, wider tires would offer an advantage. But then this bike has the fast character of a road bike. This makes it perhaps the most all-round gravel racer. Whatever the surface, this gravel racer likes to go fast.
The Sram Rival 1x11 groupset shifts at a very high level. And because you only shift using the rear derailleur, you're always quick on the draw. Moreover, the Rival rear derailleur uses clutch, so you can shift even while navigating bumpy surfaces.
The Mavic Allroad wheels are the best you can wish for. They are wide for good steering characteristics and extremely reliable. This ensures you don't have to be that careful while riding on this Roadmachine X.
