- Fits 4-arm cranksets of Shimano Dura Ace 9000, Ultegra 6800, 105 5800, Tiagra 4700, among others.
- Oval chainrings have their smallest diametre on the 'dead point' of your pedal stroke.
- An oval chainring's diametre is equivalent to that of one that has 2 more teeth at the point where you can put most toque on your pedals for the best power transfer.
- While an oval chainring hardly affects ride feel, it certainly has big advantages in terms of power transfer. Especially during climbing.
- Not compatible with Shimano Hyperglide+ 12 speed chains.

The Wolf Tooth Elliptical Shimano Oval chainrings are suitable for Shimano Road cranksets. They are compatible with cranks like Shimano Dura Ace 9000, Ultegra 6800, 105 5800, Tiagra 4703 of 4700, Sora R3000 or R3030 and Claris R2000 or R2030. The Wolf Tooth Elliptical chainrings are oval and give you better power distribution and power transfer on the drivetrain. Thanks to Wolf Tooth's oval sprockets, the dead point in your pedal stroke is eliminated. The point where the force is the smallest, the chainring is immediately lifted over the dead point. Wolf Tooth's patented design means a slightly (10%) less oval shape with a less aggressive position (112°) than competitors' variants.

The chainring features a BCD of 110 mm and can be mounted with the original chainring bolts. The custom tooth profile works with 9, 10, 11 and 12 speed SRAM Flattop and KMC chains (not with Shimano HG+ 12 speed chains). The wide-narrow sprocket teeth profile, ensures that your chain cannot run off the chainring.
