Description
The Northwave Extreme Winter GTX mountain bike shoes are perfect for extreme weather conditions. The shoes fit well around your feet and ankles, and this in combination with the Gore-Tex Sierra membrane and the DSC-Double Shield Construction ensure your feet stay dry during your bike ride. The Northwave Extreme Winter GTX has a good breathability so your feet will not get too hot during your bike ride.
The Speedlight 3D sole that is placed beneath this shoe has a very comfortable sole
which can transfer your strength really well. The sole features a rugged tread of a natural rubber which provides enough grip in extreme conditions. The Northwave Extreme Winter GTX shoes have a reflective elements finish for more visible during dark conditions. These shoes can be used at temperatures from 5 to -25 degrees.
Extensive explanation size in cm
The size denoted in cm tells you how long the shoe is. This size was taken on the inside of the shoe measuring from the heel to the toes. In order to determine what size you’ll need, you can measure your own foot. Do this by placing a piece of paper on the floor tucked against the wall. Stand on the paper with your heel against the wall. Draw a line at your big toe. Measure the distance between that and the wall, and add approximately 5 mm. The number of centimeters is the size in centimeters found on our website. Which specific EU/UK size you need can differ between brands. This is because each brand uses their own boot tree, causing the shoe to be bigger or smaller than the size would suggest. This is why we’ve added the size in centimeters for all of our shoes. We’ve also categorised our shoes in three different groups: narrow, medium, and wide. In order to determine the width of your foot, you can use this table. Extensive explanation size in cm

Expensive but worth it

These are expensive boots but you get what you pay for. They keep your feet warm in all conditions from snow to -10 cold to torrential rain. Water will come in from the tops but your feet will remain warm. The speed lace system is much better than the velcro fasteners on the Celsius version. Highly recommended.
