Description

The Campagnolo version of this wheel now comes with a free Shimano body. This makes it easy to convert the Campagnolo version to a Shimano compatible wheel. Simply remove the end cap and pull the body off the axle. The video included in the media gallery shows you how it's done.

The Zipp 202 Disc rear wheel is ideal for climbers. Zipp started with the legendary 202 climbing wheel and transformed it into a stiff, lightweight, and aerodynamic wheelset. This set has a considerably longer service life thanks to the smoother bearings. The set has been designed to withstand the rigours of Paris-Roubaix and it's capable of bringing you countless enjoyable cycling hours.

The Zipp 202 Disc was tested by the best cyclocross athletes in the world, including the talented Jeremy Powers who has tested the set for a whole season. This went so well that he became national champion on them. All this without having to replace the bearings even once. Stopping with these disc wheels has never felt so good because the wheel is incredibly stiff and provides optimal traction.

Firecrest wheels stand for cutting-edge technology when it comes to aerodynamics. Like its predecessor this wheel features the X32 rim, with a depth of 32 mm, an internal width of 17.5 mm and an external width of 25.4 mm at the narrowest point, measuring 28.5 mm at the widest. This vastly reduces aerodynamic drag. This has been tested in the Zipp windtunnel by their engineers and with CFD testing.

These wheels run a lot smoother than a standard carbon wheel because of the ultra-smooth bearings and the way they're built. Ride with these wheels and it'll feel like you're stuck to the road, diving into corners even faster. The big difference between the 202 and 303 is that the 202 is more narrow and has messing spoke nipples capable of withstanding more pressure.

ABLC Technology
Zipp ABLC technology optimises the advantages gained by Zipp’s patented Firecrest rim profile. The ABLC dimple rim profile creates minor turbulence which guides the airflow inwards, which keeps the air flowing over the rim smoothly and reduces turbulence behind the wheel.
