The Sram Eagle AXS XX1 is the very first wireless shifting group for mountain bikes! This group took all the good from the well-known mechanical 12-speed XX1, but has improved in a lot of areas.
This Sram Eagle XX1 groupset is suited for cross-country use. For cross-country, every gram counts, which is reflected in the choice of materials. A lot of carbon is used, so you won’t need to carry a gram too much uphill!
Because this groupset shifts electronically, you can be assured shifting is identical in all circumstances. Sand, mud and other muck no longer influences shifting performance!
The shifter of this groupset has three buttons. Using the Sram AXS app on your phone, you can assign functions to these buttons. This shifter is Bluetooth compatible, so you can control all Bluetooth compatible parts, such as a dropper post, with this shifter.
The Eagle AXS XX1 derailleur has a carbon cage and is 10mm shorter than the mechanical derailleur. This makes the derailleur very light and reduces risk of ground contact.
This derailleur can be adjusted very precisely, which allows it to produce almost no sound and you can shift using a simple button press.
Lastly, this groupset is exchangeable with Sram Red AXS 1x12 parts. This means you can adjust your bicycle to your exact preference! Do note that a Red derailleur and cassette require a Red chain as well.
The Sram Eagle AXS XX1 is the lightest groupset around for cross-country use. The derailleur will always shift, regardless of the circumstances. The setup can be fine-tuned to your liking and the groupset is exchangeable with Red AXS. You won’t have any excuses left to ride on trails as fast as possible.
Note:
This groupset does not include brakes. This means you can choose brakes of your preference, or keep your old brakes.
