Shimano Ultegra R8000 chainrings are replacement chainrings for a Shimano FC-R8000 crankset. The chainrings have set combinations of 50-34, 52-36, 53-39 or 46-36. Don't change this, because doing so will have a negative effect on shifting performance! The Shimano Ultegra R8000 chainring has an asymmetric, 110 mm BCD.
A 46-tooth outer chainring is mounted with different bolts. You'll need these special chainring bolts.
Don’t forget to use assembly grease on the bolt before tightening it, so that you can easily loosen them when you want to replace the chainring in the future.
Do you need chainring bolts?
Unfortunately, chainring bolts can wear out. Luckily, the bolts you'll need to secure this chainring are sold separately! You can find bolts for a 50, 52 or 53-tooth outer chainring here.A 46-tooth outer chainring is mounted with different bolts. You'll need these special chainring bolts.
