The SLX M7000 11 speed double crankset is more than just looks. It also has an incredible mechanic design. The improved bottom bracket seal prevents moisture and dirt from coming in, so it keeps working properly and you need less maintenance. You’ll need replacement much later. The teeth of the lightweight and durable 11 speed sprockets have hte characteristics of the new Dynamic Chain Engagement technology. They have improved chain retention and stiffness, and are incredibly efficient to shift incredibly accurate.
The Shimano M7000 double 11-speed crankset offers a broad range of gears: over 22 gears. The inner chain and outer chain are perfectly in sync which makes shifting incredibly smooth.
M7000 single 11-speed is simplicity on a bike. It won't give problems like chainsuck or faultering front derailleur. It also saves a bit of weight because it doesn't have superfluous materials.
