Description

Description

With this Shimano + KMC HG 500 10 speed you can renew the drivetrain of your bike with the needed innovations. This combination can be used on road bikes, mountain bikes, city bikes and E-bikes. It offers good shifting performance and durability.Making it an excellent choice for your bike!

KMC X10 chain
The KMC X10 chain is a chain that excels in durability and smooth shifting. The sharpening has been done with care, making it easy for the chain to react when shifting. The chain is also made of durable, wear-resistant materials, making the chain last a long time. A missing link is included with the chain, so you can easily assemble and disassemble the chain.

Shimano HG 500 10 Speed Cassette
The Shimano HG500 is a 10-speed cassette that fits all 10-speed Shimano groupsets.. This cassette is therefore used on both road and mountain bikes. The cassette is placed on a spider, so the cassette has sufficient stiffness and the total weight is kept low.

The gears are pressed from an aluminium plate and havee a nice finish. The result is a cassette with good value for money and solid performances.
Due to the nickel coating on the cassette, the durability of the cassette is also guaranteed. In addition, the cassette is ground according to Shimano's HyperGlide technology, so you can shift smoothly.

Can my derailleur handle the gearing?

User tips

How often should I wash my bike? Regular washing will keep your bike in good nick. It ensures that the parts on your bike last longer so that you can enjoy cycling happiness for longer. How often you should wash your bike is largely dependent on what sort of weather conditions you ride in. Are you always out there, come rain or shine? Or are you strictly a fair-weather cyclist? It all has an influence on the degree of wear on bike parts, and some of us have to wash our bikes more regularly than others. Refer to the plan below as a general guideline:

October to March:
• Wash every 200 km
• Rinse after every ride
• Dry and lube the chain after every ride
• Let the bike dry at room temperature

April to September:
• Wash every 300 km
• Rinse after a ride in the rain
• Dry and lube the chain after rinsing or washing
• Let the bike dry at room temperature
