Pros & Cons
Pros & Cons
- With its high and open outer blocks, the G-One Bite is ideal for dry to muddy conditions, and also for the more challenging MTB trails.
- Thanks to the SpeedGrip rubber compound, the tyre has the right balance between grip, rolling resistance and durability.
- This gravel tyre can be used tubeless to allow you to get the most out of it.
- The Super Ground carcass has a SnakeSkin tissue layer from bead to bead for protection against cuts and punctures.
- With its larger outer blocks, the G-One Bite rolls less smoothly over the asphalt than the G-One Allround, despite the low and open tread design.

Are you keen on riding your gravel bike on on forest and field paths as well as on the beaten MTB tracks? Then you can be sure that the higher outer blocks of the G-One Bite will give you plenty of grip when cornering. Plus, with the space between the outer blocks, water and mud can be drained off easily in wetter conditions. This means that you have the grip you need at all times. Because the studs on the tread are positioned close to each other, you will also be able to perform well on asphalt, although the main focus of the G-One Bite is clearly on off-road riding.
So, are you looking for a gravel tyre that bites into the surface more than the G-One Allround? Look no further, because with the G-One Bite you're guaranteed to have grip exactly where you need it!
A light blue stripe across the tyre refers to the Addix SpeedGrip rubber compound. This universal compound is the most versatile compound by far. The Addix SpeedGrip has a long lifespan when used intensively while also offering a lot of grip and speed. Although it may be impossible to find the perfect tyre that ticks every imaginable box, with the Addix SpeedGrip, Schwalbe comes very close indeed!
Super Ground
With the Super Ground carcass, Schwalbe has further improved the SnakeSkin construction. This lightweight and flexible carcass has a SnakeSkin layer from bead to bead which offers full protection against cuts and punctures and keeps the weight down. The ultramodern Super Ground is, therefore, the ultimate casing for a combination of low weight, suppleness and puncture protection. So you'll have nothing to worry about when you're racing along the fastest trails.
Tubeless Easy
Schwalbe are firmly convinced that tubeless riding is the tyre technology of the future. And so they ensure that all mountain bike tyres bearing the TLE mark are optimised for riding without inner tubes. The construction of the carcass also makes the fitting process easier.
