Top tyre for gravel biker using gravel bike in winter as alternative to road bike.
Top tyre for how I use gravel bike as an alternative to road bike from October-March mostly on road, gravel paths and forest trails.

Very fine gravel tyre for dry and wet conditions
Very nice tyre. I use the gravel bike a lot for hard surfaces (gravel, forest and asphalt), so I was looking for a tyre that runs a bit smoother on these surfaces. First had the WTB Riddlers, also fine tyres but a bit more rolling resistance on the road. Now done a few rides with the Byways and am bowled over. Grip is good, can fast through dirt corners and even in wet conditions plenty of grip. Really in mud, the tyre falls short. For that you will really need more tread anyway, or a mtb :). In short. Very good tyre and extremely suitable for gravel trails!
