Reviews over the
Vredestein Aventura

Ideal tyre for gravel in the Netherlands especially with combination asphalt and road.
Previously rode other brand tyres and they felt "sluggy", especially on asphalt between gravel strips. This tyre is nice and fast on asphalt and fine on gravel and mud.

Number 1 among gravel tyres
The tyre is very rideable on all terrains (including asphalt). Puncture resistance is top

Top band
Matches my expectations

Recommended for dry surfaces.
Very smooth fitting at a 45-minute squeak with just a floor pump. Rolling resistance is formidable on asphalt and light forest trails, on more humid or muddy trails grip will perhaps be worse despite the larger profile on outer edges of the tyre.

Top band!
For years, my favourite gravel tyre. Why. Tyre holds up super on rougher surfaces, has low rolling resistance on the road, and I hardly ever ride flat (with inner tube!). Wonder how this tyre likes it in tubeless set-up....

Very satisfied for the first 400 km
400 km in the South of France, very good grip on different surfaces (road, gravel, wet), more confidence on the roads, not too much wear compared to other tires I've tried.

Fine gravel tire
3500 km rear tire, tread a little less but not yet worn out. Front tire, nothing to see yet.

Super satisfied with this all-round gravel tire
I had purchased these tires for my Decathlon Riverside that I use both for transportation and cycling in the great outdoors. I wanted a tire that would allow me to go into the woods as well as not have too much rolling resistance on asphalt. I went for the 38mm width, and these tires fulfill that task perfectly! I can ride in the woods just fine and keep a good grip on sand, forest trails, gravel and soggy grass. Short stretches through mud, and the occasional MTB route also go fine. On really loose dry sand, they slip a little every now and then, but not to the point that I immediately go under. All in all, I am super satisfied and can definitely recommend them! It's too early to say anything about puncture resistance or wear.

Fine tire for almost any surface
Apart from real blubber, the tire otherwise rides nicely everywhere. Not much rolling resistance on the road either.

Value for money!
Fitted the 38mm version directly tubeless with Cyclon HQ Sealant to my Dt Swiss 1800 wheelset. Didn't need a compressor, just with my SKS pump they plopped right on! Even at 1.5 bar ride well and plenty of grip.

Just what I was looking for
Fast on paved surfaces, plenty of grip when needed. A muddy forest path may be a bridge too far, but otherwise the Aventura is a winner! I ride this (44mm) tire tubeless, after almost 4000 kilometers 0.0 problems. The rear tire is now starting to show some wear. Next round I will go for these Vredesteins again, but the skinwall variant. Lovely ride on this Dutch tire!

Excellent choice
Bought tires for my wife's MTB who likes to do gravel rides. She likes them very much. Little rolling resistance on asphalt.

Just what I need
Long in doubt which tire to get for my gravel/cross/road bike. In the end I chose the Aventura because the tread seemed to fit my needs, it is tubeless ready, it is reasonably priced and a little bit because Vredestein is a Dutch company ;-) I have now ridden about 300 km, 80% offroad/MTB routes and 20% paved, and I have nothing to be desired. Of course I can't say anything about durability and puncture resistance yet.
