Bikepacking first purchase voucher

- Alexis, 4 September, 2023

Good product, the bag is very easy to detach and reattach. Be careful with the transmission cables, which may be held up by the volume of the bag.

Solid, waterproof, offers plenty of space

- Stefanie, 21 August, 2023

Previously, I had been using the Ortlieb handlebar bag (the variant with the openings along the side) which, however, often hung a bit too low and is a bit cumbersome to unfasten and fasten. This bag has the advantage that you can leave the shell hanging on your handlebars and only take out the light bag itself. This does save time and fiddling. The straps allow you to tighten them down well. I myself spent two weeks travelling around with it and although the material of the bag is quite light, I didn't have any problems with it. It also withstood hefty rain showers with flying colours. There are no elastic bands on the front, but you can fasten a light jacket between the straps.

Pros & Cons

Easy to detach
Sufficiently spacious
Vacuum valve
Manual is not super clear
Material of the bag is quite thin

Good product that functions as it should and it looks good.

- Koen, 6 May, 2023

Bought the bag for a short bike trip with an overnight stay. The space given by the bag is limited so you have to take a hard look at what is convenient to bring. I brought an extra pair of shoes and that takes up a relatively large amount of space, so be critical of what is needed. The valve is very nice to make the bag smaller, this was one of the reasons to go for this bag. In terms of use on the bike, the bag is very stable and well waterproof. I rode for 2 hours in the pouring rain and was very happy that the clothes in the bag stayed well dry. Overall very satisfied with the bag, only an extra backloader or other large saddle bag is needed if you want to take a bit more than the essentials.

Pros & Cons

Easy to use
Good waterproof
Installation is easy
Looks good

Super convenient, lightweight and economical buy

- M., 16 April, 2023

Our first bikepack trip behind us, what fun it is! Just this front bag and a backpack for all the camping gear. It takes some figuring out how to fit the brake cables neatly behind the spacers, but when it sits, it sits just fine. And then it is so convenient that you can easily take off the bag and leave the harness in place. Bag is so easy to stuff with a tent or sleeping bags. The venting is a big plus. For the price a no-brainer. If you want to trek for 100 days you might want something heavier.

Pros & Cons

Convenient system
fine price

Perfect bag for my use and great value for money.

- AD, 1 August, 2022

- Reliable: I can trust this bag on long trips. - Sturdy: Once set correctly, it doesn't wobble much or cause any issue with shifting gears - Both ends of the inner bag can open: This is great for easy accessibility of things inside from both sides. - (Bonus) Put a carabiner on both ends with a strap to use it as a backpack when you are not on the bike during your trip! - Too many hard objects packed in this can cause an issue with shifting when the bag is loaded to its full capacity. The advise is to pack softer objects on the two sides, e.g. clothing. - Make sure both ends are closed before picking it up and that the bag is not overloaded. When you are picking it from one end and the other one opens due to load, all the items can fall out. This happened only once but just something to consider while using it.

Pros & Cons

Both ends can open
Reliable
Sturdy
Make sure both ends are closed or it can spill
Too many hard objects cannot be packed

Good product, good value for money

- Fabien, 9 September, 2021

Used on a 3-day road bike trip in the mountains to carry a change of clothes. The bag does its job perfectly, attaches well, is waterproof (received a few storms) and is big enough to carry a change of clothes and rain/warmth gear. I was just disappointed not to see the net (turnbuckles) that lets you attach extra clothing to the outside of the bag, but this can be done by slipping the clothing under the bag's tightening straps.

Great bag!

- Arnout, 26 March, 2021

Fine bag where you can ride your bike nicely. The compression bag is handy to take a lot with you. Fits exactly between the handlebars (gravel bike). Make sure you put something between your frame and the bag. In my case, sand got in between and damaged your paint. The included strips are too small for this, but you can easily put something in between yourself.

Pros & Cons

Easy to attach
Fits a lot
Securely attached
Chance of damaging frame

Spacious and sturdy bag!

- Hidde, 24 December, 2020

The Frontloader is a bit tricky to assemble in my opinion, but convenient to use. It also fits quite a lot. What I did encounter was that the bag got in the way of the bike's cables, but they were easy to shift. However, this problem varies by bike, it seems to me.

Pros & Cons

Good value for money
Spacious bag
Difficult to mount
Gets in the way with the brackets and bike cables
