I bought the protector as a foot guard for children on the back so that the feet on the supports cannot get between the spokes. These protectors are made of thick and sturdy plastic, making them very sturdy. When sizing them, you really have to measure well before using a knife to make the opening for your lock. But using a break-off knife worked well. All in all, a good buy.
