No more wet feet

- Angelo, 31 January, 2024

Upon delivery of the mudguards, it turned out that the mounting parts were wrong in the package. (No V-adapters but straight adapters were delivered, not as shown in the photos). Efforts were made to find the cause so this would not happen again, and to fix it. Within the week, the mudguards were mounted on my bike. Top service from Mantel! The mudguards do what they are designed to do, and that is to stop all splashing water. Even when riding through (shallow) puddles you no longer get your feet wet. The mudguards look sleek, and if you adjust the mounting rods, they can be tailored nicely to any bike. I have already tested them briefly on a few bad gravel strips and the mudguards are quiet and stay firmly attached.

Pros & Cons

Looks good on the bike
No more splashing water
Solid mounting
Sufficient nuts and bolts included
Assembly requires some work
Metal saw needed to cut brackets to size
Temporary removal of mudguards is difficult

Fine set of fenders, sturdy and beautiful.

- Hans, 6 December, 2022

Great product, just pay attention to where the mounting lugs are on the fork. On my Cannondale Topstone they are a bit higher on the fork, so measuring out the correct position of the mudguard is a bit of a puzzle.

Pros & Cons

Easy mounting
Sturdy mounting
Stylish sober design
It requires a hacksaw

Very well, after a little hobbying

- Tom, 28 November, 2022

When they are in place, they work well. But it wasn't as plug and play as I hoped. Had to make another bracket for the front and cut a piece off the back. Then it fit well and is vibration free!

Pros & Cons

Flexible
Lightweight
Reasonably easy to install
Had to shorten rods to fit
Not plug n play for my bike

Good but assembly takes time

- F., 14 October, 2020

Nice mudguards of good quality but fitting them is a bit of a chore, count on over an hour and that is only if you are handy. Not for people who are not handy.

Pros & Cons

Does not rattle
Not too expensive
Solid
Assembly takes time

limp in texture.

Slack in structure. Vibrates violently on uneven roads. Easy to mount and good to adjust to size.
