Shimano Ultegra R8170 C36 Disc

I bought these wheels to take part in a cyclosportive in the mountains, and they met my expectations perfectly, with a very light weight and exceptional performance for a very good price.

Purchased as a replacement for Mavic Rys, these Shimano Ultegra wheels give me satisfaction on flat and hilly terrain, and should perform well in the mountains, especially on descents.

Nice wheels, not very light, but they feel smooth to the touch

I've been testing the wheels for 3 weeks now and I'm currently in the mountains (Ventoux) and I've found this pair of wheels suitable for all types of terrain.

Taken to replace Shimano aluminium wheels. The Ultegra wheels are particularly smooth.

Very nice wheel, tyres go on fairly easily, tlr without further fuss. Bearings are servicable, which is nice but something to watch out for when changing.
