Good BC, would buy it again.
I'm happy with the Karoo 3, unfortunately it's not possible to pair a smartwatch as a heart rate monitor these days.

Bisher das beste Navi!
Fast alles ist selbsterklärend, einfach einzustellen. Sehr übersichtlich, keine umständliche Menüführung wie bei anderen Herstellern.

Any time again
The bike sat nav works perfectly, handling the device is a bit time-consuming at first. But it works perfectly and that is the most important thing...

Absolutely recommended
I bought the Hammerhead Karoo (3) as a successor to the Karoo 2. And for a very competitive price at Mantel. In my eyes, the Karoo 2 was already a very fine bike navigation, and the Karoo (3) has improved on many fronts: Clear and brilliant display Clearer feel when pressing the buttons Separate power button Battery life Seal usb connector does not come loose Absolutely recommended as far as I'm concerned.

Absolute top class at a top price - Karoo 3
Coming from the Wahoo Roam v1, the Karoo 3 is a game changer for me. The entire handling is sensational and easy, even while riding. And the price is unbeatable for what the Karoo 3 offers. I can highly recommend the Karoo 3.

World-class bike sat nav
Best sat nav I've ever had! Simple route planning on the mobile phone, then sticks to the route. If you deviate from the route, you are guided very sensibly back in the direction of the route, which is world class. Switching on takes a little longer, but you can prepare for it.

Fine navigation for amateurs
We went to the shop to look at different navigation systems. Actually wanted to go for a Wahoo. The salesperson in the shop tried very hard but couldn't actually show us anything on the different devices because there was no range inside. That was very unfortunate. On the basis of his enthusiastic story, we opted for the Hammerhead and certainly did not regret it.

Good device, good route guidance
After a 600km bike tour through Germany and Austria, I was pleasantly surprised at how well the route guidance and the connection with the SRAM gears worked.

A very fine bike computer, better than I expected
After yet another disappointment from previous bike computer, went for the Karoo. Better than I expected. Easy setup, immediately made 2-day trip without a problem

Great bike computer, the touch experience is also really good, I wouldn't have expected that.
New device and the battery lasted a full 8 hours with Allways on with Route.

Clear recommendation to buy
The navigation is very good and the handling is also very easy. I would buy it again, even if the price is very steep.

Very good cycling navigation.
I have been riding Hammerhead for years, it comes highly recommended. The controls are simple and clear which is a huge advantage. Very handy too is the website where you can very easily plot a route including preference for road or gravel/mountain bike. At the same time, you see the altimeters you can follow on the route.

Top, top, top!!
Upgrade to my old Roam V1. Screen much better to read for my aging eyes, displaying of route and rerouting very good. Battery life a bit below the roam, but can be tweaked by battery saver function. All in all a very good decision.

Top device with intuitive operation
I have been using the Karoo on the road and in the forest for 2 months and approx. 1000 km. The navigation has worked perfectly so far. The display is fun: high resolution, pleasant size and you can recognise everything you need and have enough setting options to adapt it to your needs. The battery life with "standard" settings and several connected sensors (cadence, heart rate, SRAM AXS) and mobile phone is approx. 10-12 hours even in cold temperatures and can allegedly be extended to 35 hours if necessary. The internal memory is generously dimensioned. The connection to the sensors works straight away. The connection to Komoot and the synchronisation of maps or activities with Strava & Co works perfectly. So far there have been two updates with useful new features - I hope this continues... One minus point for me is the mount. The Karoo mount is very fiddly to remove. However, an adapter for a Garmin/Sigma holder is supplied. This means it works "as usual" if you are using a Sigma/Garmin. Another drawback is the excessively loud signal tone, e.g. for turn-by-turn directions, which cannot be turned down. I have deactivated it completely - fortunately it works. All in all, I can cope with the two negative points and the advantages clearly outweigh them.

Good product but they should improve the battery.
I've only had the Karoo for a short time and so far it hasn't let me down a single day. The visibility is very good, the screens once adapted are much more intuitive than those of garmin. The main drawback would be the battery, which in my case with automatic brightness I don't think it will last 15 hours.

Good, nice and this is the website where I found the best price.
My previous experience is a Garmin Etrex H so the leap has been abysmal. For me everything is positive except that I miss a silicone case, bought in a different shop (it would be nice if you offered it in Mantel) because I see the screen sensitive to breakage to blows in the frames. I hope it lasts like the EtreX and I took it off out of boredom rather than because it stops working ;) It's going to be used not only for cycling but also for Indoor with smartbike and trail running.

Very good device with great value for money.
Great device with very good support on line. Good pairing with Strava and my Sram group.

Just a bit different from a Garmin or Wahoo
Wow! Beautiful screen, looks like 4K resolution. If you are looking for a bike computer that connects easily with sensors from other brands and yet is just that little bit different from a Garmin or Wahoo, you have found it!

The Karoo is the only cycling computer for me
Before this, I had the Karoo 2 and used it very intensively for three and a half years. The only problem I ever had with it was the battery, which deteriorated badly over time. Since everyone swears by Garmin, I first ordered one of those as a replacement, but it went right back. Once you get used to Hammerhead's intuitive controls and especially its beautiful visuals, you can never go back to another brand. So for me, the Karoo is the only bike computer I want.

Value for money!
I bought this device ahead of a cycling holiday in Scotland. Meanwhile, I have been using it intensively for a few weeks. Some searching in the beginning (how to set everything to your liking, etc.) but after a while I was totally hooked with the controls. Everything speaks for itself / feels a bit like smartphone controls. With my previous device (a Garmin Edge Explore), the screen regularly crashed. Then you had to restart the device with the risk of the route you had planned disappearing. Moreover, it always took a while before the GPS signal came in and the route was recalculated. The Hammerhead works smoothly. The screen does not crash, even in battery-saving mode. If you turn the GPS off during your ride, you can easily pick it up again afterwards (the data from the ride remain saved). According to Hammerhead, the battery should last 15h. I haven't tested this yet. But on day rides of more than 7h, I still zltijd end up with more than 50% battery. Apart from that, I manage to charge the GPS while cycling with a Son hub dynamo (usb connection with Cycle2Charge). This way, even on a relatively flat ride, I manage to keep the battery at 100% when the device is on battery saver mode. The data screen is very handy. Especially the part around climbing provides very clear and predictable info. Other than that, few downsides. Too bad it doesn't manage to plan a route without Wifi connection. A silicone case to protect the GPS would be handy. Highly recommended. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

A must have for IT professionals
I already had the Karoo 1 and 2, now the Karoo 3 - simply the best in every respect
