Effective and good-sounding kit

- Lorenzo, 23 May, 2021

I replaced the original 36-tooth kit with this 54-tooth kit. The sound has improved, now more audible, and the response of the pedals and the vacuum as soon as you start pedalling again has also improved, although the change is not as marked. I have some doubts about the durability of the kit.

Expensive for what it is but works well.

- Martin, 19 May, 2021

It does what it’s supposed to do, great upgrade from the standard 18t ratchet, shame the cost is so high for two small aluminium rings, two springs and a tube of grease. Great service from Mantel and delivered safely to the UK.

Game changing performance, but too expensive and with it's own drawbacks.

- Souvik, 17 May, 2020

Makes technical climbing much easier but for 2 small pieces of aluminium, it's far too expensive. Not only that, but when putting down high torque, it tends to skip.

Pros & Cons

Amazing sound
Great technical climbing
Expensive for what it is
High maintenance
Tends to skip under heavy load
