I think the saddle is top

After about 100 km, the saddle fits like a glove. Before, I had a suspension seatpost and a gel saddle. This saddle is much more comfortable and the saddle's suspension is much better than in the old situation.

After a long search due to saddle pain, I ended up with this brooks saddle. I ordered it on Sunday evening and it arrived on Monday afternoon. Just as well, because our cycling holiday started the next day. The first few days I had to get used to the hardness of the saddle. It was as if the leather had to get used to me as well, because after breaking in the saddle, it was completely mine. No pain or sore or sweaty feeling. Cycled wonderfully. About 70 km a day. With luggage and without electric assistance!

I used to have a saddle just like this one; it was great, hours of cycling fun without saddle pain. Had a bike with a different saddle in between, regretted not having transferred my old saddle.

Because my bike was stolen my fine old brooks saddle was also gone! So I bought a new one. An aged model, which was said to be less hard. It's a nice saddle, but still very hard. It is no different, I have to sit it in....

Ordered Sunday evening, delivered the next day. After 'settling in' once, the saddle is very comfortable. Doesn't feel hard at all due to the good suspension.

I have been cycling for a long time, a long time. At the end of the days of very long routes, I always suffered pain in my neck and I was forced to look for a thousand solutions to improve my posture. From the first moment Brooks 67S and I connected. IMPRESSIVE. It's a very pleasant sensation during the whole bike ride. I recommend it for long distances and short distances on bumpy and stony roads. IT'S A BEFORE AND AFTER.

Grease between the frame and the seat post did not help. Insulating tape brought a clear improvement, but the noise has not gone away yet. The next step is to put a piece of bicycle hose in the clamp connection. This should (hopefully) solve the problem. At least we were able to identify the cause. The frame is coated black and has a very rough surface. I suspect that this is the cause.

First Brookes saddle and although firmer than I was expecting it is remarkably comfortable. Really helpful customer service team at Mantel too, when I phoned to check it would fit my bike
