The Polar V650 is a great training partner. Your information concerning heart rate, speed, distance, and height is all easily available on the large color touchscreen. The Polar Flow Webservice offers you an easy to use planner, help with reaching your goals, and a chance to maximise your training efficiency. The Polar V650 offers you many options which helps you optimise the effectiveness of your training sessions. It has three profiles dedicated to cycling, with a fourth available for another sport. Each profile offers 6 specific training profiles, which in turn all offer 8 different data displays.

Recently, OpenStreetMaps have become available for the Polar V650, enabling you to always find your way! Freely downloadable, you can select a 450 km by 450 km grid. Connect your V650 to your Flow account and the highly detailed maps will be transferred onto your device. The integrated GPS records your speed, distance and route, while the functions “Back to Start” and “Route Tracking” offer you an easy way to get back to where you began.

Polar and Strava have joined forces, offering the possibility to connect your Polar Flow account to your Strava account, automatically transferring your ride data from one to another.

The built-in barometric sensor accurately records your data on elevation and climb rate, both in percentage and Vertical Ascent in Meters. The V650 then uses all its data to formulate an accurate readout of used calories. Polar Flow in turn can use this to calculate the required recovery time, providing a balance between rest and work outs.

Following your session, the V650 will provide you with instant motivational feedback on the effect of your training. The controls are simple and intuitive. The front also features a LED light to increase your visibility on the road. This can either be turned on manually, or set to come on automatically in low light conditions.
