Description

Description

The Mio Cyclo 210 is an easy-to-use bicycle navigation system. Ideal for those looking for bicycle navigation with a perfect price-quality ratio. With Mio Cyclo 210, you can easily navigate from point A to point B or follow your preferred routes. And if you opt to use the Surprise Me feature the 210 will outline three surprising bicycle routes based on the time you want to ride or distance, just like the other Cyclo-devices. This function is perfect for those who think they know every local route, or for those who like a surprise in an unknown region, without having to download any routes. This feature continually provides new cycling routes, even when you pick the same starting point over and over.

The turn-by-turn navigation guides you effortlessly and accompanies every instruction with a clear audio signal. With its simple menu structure, bright buttons and large 3.5-inch touchscreen, the Mio Cyclo offers you maximum convenience. Striking is the brightness and readability of the display, even in bright sunlight.

The rugged waterproof casing (IPX5) ensures you can ride in every type of weather, no matter if it rains or the sun is out. With the rechargeable battery, with a battery life of 10 hours, you can travel long distances without any worries about the ride back home. Thanks to the pre-installed Points of interest (POIs), such as bike shops, restaurants and locations for emergency situations, you can easily find a place to eat or drink something or a shop to replace a tyre.

The Mio Cyclo 210 measures time, speed, distance, elevation, burned calories and much more. The desktop application lets you store your data, manage your route history and share your experiences with your friends. The easy to use program allows you to download routes, new roads and explore regions that others find interesting. With this multi-functional application, you can also manage your phone and map updates, software updates or product information.

The Mio Cyclo 210 with pre-installed maps of western Europe makes navigation and sharing your experiences simple, and meets all requirements of the recreational user who doesn't need the Wifi- and ANT+ connections that the more expensive devices offer.

The most recent update for the Mio Cyclo cycling navigation models allows the users to receive Live Strava segments on the Mio Cyclo. It is necessary to synchronise the Mio Share account to Strava, and it only works with a Strava Premium account. You can select the segments yourself, and after syncing with the Cyclo Agent, they are transferred to the computer.

Sophisticated, in a simple way

Like all the available GPS bike computers the Mio 210 works its electronic magic and guides you along your route without missing a beat. The colour screen is big and bright and seamlessly updates itself as you roll along. Wander off route and it not only alerts you but quickly plots your way back. Looking for variety? Easy, just touch the "Surprise Me" button and it will take you somewhere different, always interesting but never too far away. If your primary use for a bike computer is navigation, this could be the one for you. And, very important for someone who, like me, doesn't own a smartphone, you can plot your routes on a laptop or desktop and transfer them easily to the device. It offers a very decent 10 hour battery life, secures firmly to your bars or stem and is weather-proof against anything our climate can throw at us. What a bargain!

  • Battery life

  • Ease of use
  • Excellent touch pad

Perfect cycling satnav

Solid construction and provides car like satnav functions. Routes chosen are on the whole safe with a sophisticated algorythm to find the best cycling route. Not the best for recording performance but then not designed for this.

Pros

  • decent size for using on the go
  • good route selection
  • Large display
  • solid construction
  • stays in the holder over bumps

Cons

  • computer software clunky
  • not a detailed performance recorder

Good for satellite navigation

A solid well constructed sat nav, which is excellent for navigation. One of the few cycling devices that work like a car satnav. The routes chosen are excellent for cycling safely and sophisticated algorithms. Not the best for recording performance but then not designed for that.
