MET Idolo MIPS Road Bike Helmet

The Idolo Race Bike Helmet is an entry-level helmet that combines design and protection. The hard outer shell and polystyrene inner shell provide good protection for the head in the event of an impact. The Safe-T adjustment system ensures a comfortable fit and includes reflective elements for safety in the dark or twilight. Moreover, the addition of MIPS technology ensures impact distribution across the entire head in the event of a fall.

Extra protection through the MIPS System
MIPS, or Multi Directional Impact Protection System, is a technology integrated into the inner shell of a helmet. In the event of a fall, the helmet's inner shell can rotate, spreading energy from an impact across the entire head, rather than just at one specific point. Thus, it can reduce head injuries. Wearing a helmet with MIPS technology will not give noticeable differences during use, but can provide increased protection in case of a fall.
