Body type at 12 speed
Some 12 speed cassettes (like the SRAM NX Eagle PG-1230) are only compatible with a 10/11 speed Shimano/SRAM Hyperglide freehub body. MTB cassettes with a 10 as the smallest sprocket need a compatible freehub body. For Shimano, this is a Micro-Spline body and for SRAM an XD body.
