The Castelli Velocissimo 5 is a long bib tight for men which is ideal for mild to cold conditions. This cycling tight is made of extremely comfortable Thermoflex material. The fabric used on the lower legs offers good protection against road spray. Furthermore, the Velocissimo has mesh bib straps, reflective inserts and the comfortable KISS Air2 chamois.
Thermoflex fabric from knees to waist
The Castelli Velocissimo 5 has Thermoflex material from the knees up to the waist. It provides warmth and comfort in mild to cold conditions. Thermoflex is not Castelli's warmest fabric, nor does it repel water. However, it is the softest and most stretchy fabric for a long cycling tight.
Nano Flex stretch-woven fabric for the lower legs
The lower legs of the Velocissimo 5 feature Nano Flex stretch-woven fabric with brushed fleece on the inside. This material is both warm and water-repellent, so that your lower legs are well protected against road spray. There is no zip on the lower legs to reduce the volume in the overshoes you may wear.
KISS Air2 seat pad
The Castelli Velocissimo 5 is equipped with the KISS Air2 seat pad, a high-performance chamois for various conditions. Its construction consists of 1 piece whose thickness varies. In addition, the KISS Air2 has been updated; its padding now offers better support and the fabric is softer and stretchier.
