Description
Description
Gore-Tex Infinium Windstopper and Nano Flex 3G fabric for optimal protection
These cycling shorts by Castelli give you good protection against the cold and riding wind. The upper legs are lined with Gore-Tex Infinium Windstopper material, which prevents the cold wind from penetrating the trousers. This keeps your legs warm while cycling. The rest of the trousers is made of Nano Flex 3G material. This material is soft, stretchy, warm and has a water repellent layer to stop splashing water. The ideal temperature to use these trousers is between -5 and 10 degrees.
Progetto X2 Air chamois
The Castelli Progetto X2 Air chamois is the ideal chamois when you make long rides on your bike. This pad is designed to protect your skin and has the right thickness to protect you regardless of your time in the saddle. The top layer is made of microfibre that can stretch in 4 directions and has no seams to create minimal friction while cycling. The foam used has been perforated by Castelli to make it breathable. The chamois has two different sections to give you more support where you need it most.
Reflective panels ensure high visibility.
To make sure you're highly visible to oncoming traffic during the dark winter months, reflective panels are placed on the back of the ankles. This way you will not easily be overlooked from behind. Here you will also find a zip which makes it easier to put on and take off the trousers.
This Castelli Sorpasso RoS Wind cycling trousers is the tight for you if temperatures below freezing don't stop you.

Super fine trousers for cold rides!
Super fine trousers for cold winter rides! Tested during intensive training with intervals, down to -5 below zero. Warm enough during a warm-up, but not too warm for the real thing. I also have the 'regular' Sorpasso, which has considerably thicker lining. Only disadvantage is that the fabric at the knees is also thicker and feels stiffer. But 'knee-jerk' who pays attention to that ;) Only not tested in rain, but this one will only do better than the regular Sorpasso already does....

Fine pants, chamois is very good and nice and warm. Note: falls extremely small. Am 1.82 and 75 kg and XL fits exactly, almost on the tight side.

Great pants for cold conditions
Even in a cold east wind, sufficient protection from the cold

Great trousers for cycling all winter, but falls small.
If you want to keep cycling in winter, these are great trousers. Thanks to the good chamois, no ride is too long. Wind stays out nicely. Trousers are very small. I am 1.78 m and 79 kg and need size XXL. Tried XL but it is much too tight in the crotch and around the thighs.
