OCLV Pro Carbon for strength and durability
The Bontager Line Elite 30 TLR Boost wheels are made using strong and durable OCLV Pro Carbon. This is a lightweight, pro-grade carbon that allows for an optimal balance between weight, strength and durability. In fact, the rims are so strong that Bontrager does not set a rider weight limit! These Line Elite 30 wheels have a very sturdy rim profile with a hook bead design. These properties increase the rim's impact strength and help prevent pinch flats.

High reliability, suppleness and speed
The Bontrager Line Elite 30 TLR Boost wheel features a smooth-turning Rapid Drive 108 hub with 3.3. degrees of engagement. This makes power transfer faster as well as very reliable. The 4.6 mm hook wall thickness increases strength and durability, and the 27 mm shallow rim height allows for more vertical compliance and enhanced shock absorption. The 29 mm internal rim width allows for wide tyres to be fitted for optimal comfort, grip and reliability.

Also reliable is the rim's larger contact area. The wider hook bead offers a 300% larger outside hook radius, which means more surface area upon contact with a sharp object. This helps to prevent pinch flats significantly!

Tubeless Ready (TLR) design compatible with thru-axles
The TLR Boost version of the Bontrager Line Elite 30 wheels comes with TLR rim tape and a TLR valve, but also with standard rim tape to allow you to choose to ride with clinchers or tubeless tyres. The fact that the rim is tubeless ready allows for a quick conversion to tubeless.

No worries about defects thanks to Bontrager's warranty programme
All Bontrager carbon wheels are backed with a lifetime warranty to the original owner and by the Carbon Care Wheel Loyalty Programme. This means the wheel will be replaced if it gets damaged during a ride within two years of purchase!

Carbon Care Wheel Loyalty Programme

The people at Trek/Bontrager understand that new carbon wheels or a new bike with carbon wheels can be a major investment. With this in mind, they have established the Carbon Care Wheel Loyalty programme, emphasising that they stand confidently behind their products and quality.

What does the Carbon Care Wheel Loyalty Programme entail?
• Lifetime warranty: All Bontrager carbon wheels are backed with a lifetime warranty against (manufacturing) defects.
• Carbon Care within 2 years of purchase: If your wheel is damaged during a fall or crash, Bontrager is there to help you. If your wheel is damaged within 2 years of purchase, they will look into replacing or repairing it for free. Such damage can be the result of a fall or, for example, hitting a kerb accidentally.
• Carbon Care after 2 years: If your wheel is damaged after 2 years of purchase, Bontrager offers to repair or replace it at reduced cost.

When am I eligible for the Carbon Care Wheel Loyalty Programme?
The programme automatically applies to you when you are the original owner of a Bontrager full carbon wheel and purchased it after November 1, 2018 in our webshop or in one of our physical shops. This also applies to Bontrager full carbon wheels that come as standard on a number of Trek bikes.
Please note: This programme does not cover aluminium wheels with a carbon fibre fairing such as the Aura and the Aeolus Comp wheels.

How do I submit my damaged Bontrager full carbon wheel for repair or replacement?
You can take your damaged wheel to one of our shops or register it for warranty through our webshop. When we have received the wheel, we will send it to Trek. Trek will then consider which option to offer, depending on the type of wheel and the severity of the damage:
• Repair of a damaged rim (plus spokes, decals, nipples if necessary) and factory reconstruction of the original hubs;
• A complete wheel replacement.

Freehub type with 12 speed
Some 12 speed cassettes must be mounted on the 10/11 speed Shimano/SRAM freehub body. These are SRAM NX Eagle PG-1230 cassettes and almost all other 12 speed MTB cassettes with 11 as the smallest sprocket. MTB cassettes with 10 as the smallest sprocket need a particular freehub; for Shimano this is a Micro-Spline and for SRAM this is an XD freehub.
