Made to be as durable as possible!
Bontrager Line Comp 30 MTB rims are made from highly durable and strong G609 aluminium. This type of aluminium is very impact-resistant. Combined with 29 mm inner width, 33 mm outer width and 28 spokes front and rear, these wheels are ready for the rougher trails.
The TLR Boost version of the Bontrager Line Comp 30 comes with TLR rim tape, a TLR valve as well as standard rim tape. This allows you to choose whether you want to ride with inner tubes or tubeless. The fact that this rim is tubeless ready makes a quick conversion to a tubeless system possible.
Some 12-speed cassettes must be mounted on the 10/11-speed Shimano/SRAM freehub body. These are SRAM NX Eagle PG-1230 cassettes and almost all other 12-speed MTB cassettes with 11 as the lowest sprocket. MTB cassettes with a 10 lowest sprocket need a special freehub body: For Shimano this is a Micro-Spline freehub and for SRAM an XD freehub.

Love the hub
Was looking for a 27.5" rear wheel for trails for mullet setup, in addition to 2 dt swiss sets I have. of which xr1700 set with ratchet 54t hub, and an m1900 with 3pawl hub. I thought the 54t was spoilers, But bontrager does make a big deal, so much commitment in this price. The stickers looked cheap, but that's subjective. I removed them and it went off without a hitch. The rim with tubeless and valve weighed 1040gr on my scales instead of 950. Slightly disappointed, I suspect the standard ribbon is decent. This would still be replaceable for tubeless tape.
