Bell Star Pro Shield Road Bike Helmet

According to Bell, the Bell Star Pro Shield is the fastest helmet on the market. The helmet has been designed in such a way that you get to choose between optimal aerodynamics or ventilation. The aerohelmet has become a reguar sight in the peloton. Sprinters started using them in sprint stages, but the Bell Star Pro has been developed in such a way that it can be used in any stage- regardless of the course. The helmet has a slider which allows you to either open or close the vents on the sides. If they're closed, the helmet offers optimal aerodynamics. Open them, and the ventilation is radically improved. The Star Pro also has the Overbrow ventilation system. This system is designed to force cool air in through the front vents, and exhaust hot air from the ports on the back. The Float Fit retention system will further enhance your comfort. The Bell Star Pro also features Progressive Layering, meaning the helmet is built using two distinct layers: a low density EPS foam on the inside, with a higher density layer on the outside to optimally protect your head.

You can equip the Star Pro with or without a Zeiss Magnetic Shield. This is a visor that you can remove easily and place on the outside of the helmet when not in use.
