faithful to latex inner tubes for mountain biking

I've been using latex inner tubes on my mountain bikes for several years now, despite the democratisation of tubeless tyres. I like this model, where the shell can be removed to put a little preventive fluid inside.

Fitted this latex tyre in a Mavic Crossride wheel with Racing Ralph. Little bit of inflation during fitting to get the tyre in place. Some extra baby powder won't hurt either to reduce friction everywhere. In my experience, this is much better than the very sensitive TPU tyres and I haven't noticed much pressure loss either. This tyre loses pressure very slowly compared to a butyl rubber but I had the same or more pressure loss with tubeless and you certainly don't need to re-inflate every day if you are used to riding at 1.5 to 2 bar.
