Technically advanced for wide range
The SRAM GX Eagle AXS rear derailleur features the same fantastic technologies as the twice-as-expensive XX1 Eagle derailleur. Due to the larger 12-speed cassette, the cage has been made a bit longer and the lower jockey wheel has been increased from 12 to 14 teeth. The Roller Bearing Clutch has been further refined to deliver a more consistent force across the entire stroke of the cage. The only difference here is the use of aluminum instead of carbon.

Best of all, you can completely tune the groupset to your own wishes. For this you only have to download the Sram AXS app to adjust everything to your liking. It is also possible apply synchronized shifting, whereby the it automatically switches between the two front chainrings.

Overload clutch
The SRAM GX Eagle AXS derailleur is equipped with an Overload-Clutch. This inovative system from SRAM that ensures that the rear derailleur is less likely to be damaged in a crash. This clutch works like a spring. If you fall on the drive side, this system 'springs' to pull the derailleur back and prevent damage.

Skew derailleur hanger?

Clean the jockey wheels well too!
Just like the chain, the jockey wheels on a derailleur get super dirty. As a result the shifting is not as good and it does the lifespan of your derailleur no good.
