Description

Description

The Trek Verve 3 Equipped is a hybrid bike that offers a light ride feel. With the standard comprehensive accessory set, it is ready to be used for your daily rides. It is a fun and useful bike that is suitable for all-round use.

Versatility
You can’t get a bike that is more versatile than a hybrid bike, which brings together sports and practicality. This is very true for the Trek Verve 3 Equipped, which also comes equipped with a comprehensive accessory set; with its luggage rack, mudguards and good hub dynamo lighting this bike is perfectly suitable as a city bike. Commuting, going to the gym or the shops, this smooth-running hybrid bike makes every ride a little easier.

The Trek Verve 3 Equipped is a fast hybrid bike that is just as ready for great adventures as for your ordinary everyday rides. All the more reason to buy it!

Technology

Going smoothly towards the horizon...
With a hybrid bike, it is only natural that you want to go on cycling adventures. With the Trek Verve 3 Equipped, this is definitely an option. The lightweight frame ensures great handling. The geometry gives you a slightly active sitting position, while the bike is also very comfortable, mainly because both the front fork and seat post have suspension. Long rides are therefore no problem, as you can keep a pleasant pace and continue to feel comfortable.

Wide gear range and powerful brakes
The sporty aspects of the Trek Verve 3 Equipped are reflected in the drivetrain, which offers no less than 18 gears. Of course, these are derailleur gears. This gives you a very wide gear range, the only downside being the increased susceptibility to dirt and wear. In heavy traffic, you may suddenly be faced with unexpected situations. It is nice to know, then, that you can rely on this bike’s strong hydraulic disc brakes.

User tips

Maintenance of gear parts and brakes
We recommend a regular cleaning of the chain and derailleur for optimum durability and efficiency. As for the hydraulic disc brakes, we recommend cleaning those hardly ever, as contamination with grease and detergents may impair braking performance. If you do want to clean the brake discs, we recommend doing so with a dry paper towel. Try not to touch the discs with your fingers.

Tyre pressure
Having the right tyre pressure is important. The wrong tyre pressure may cause punctures, more wear, rim damage when the pressure is low, and uncomfortable handling. For most hybrid bikes, tyre pressure is between 3.5 and 6 bar. The recommended pressure for your tyres should be printed on their sidewall.

General maintenance tip
While you can do a lot of maintenance work yourself, it may be wise to have it checked by a bicycle mechanic.

Tough, lightweight bike.

- Nynke 4 June 2023

We bought this bike for our son who is going after high school after the summer. He likes the bike. It looks cool and cycles light. Small point of attention: in the 1st week we already lost a protective cap from the front fork.

Very good bike, geometry could be improved but it's up to the fit for every person.

- Martin 15 June 2022

Feel that something in't completely right and had to adjust it multiple times, but my knees keep touching the keys while on the lock and the chain on the right side. Otherwise suspension, gears, handlebar, seats are very comfrotable and nice bike to have.

Fine, lightweight and comfortable bike

- Otto 20 September 2021

Was looking for a new hybrid bike. Based on good experiences when buying a previous bike went to Mantel again. Good advice and finally chose a Trek Verve 3 Equipped. Now I've cycled a few hundred kilometers on it. Very nice bike! Only "disadvantage" the lower range of the lowest gears is very light. I don't expect to use it very much. At the top of the top gear range, I would have liked to have had a couple more. In short: a good mix of sporty and recreational.

Fine sporty bike!

- Angelina 19 August 2021

I am very happy with this bike! My height is 1.68m but I have long legs and therefore on the advice of the store assistant I chose a size L. This one was only available in Den Bosch. We went straight there and after a test ride and a cup of tea while it was being prepared we could take it with us. We received good service at Mantel Den Bosch with tips on maintenance, which is important for a bike like this with a derailleur. So far I've already cycled 30 km on it and it went great! I did feel the saddle, the question is whether that is a matter of getting used to or whether the saddle is just a little too hard. The nice thing about the bike is that it is light in weight and you can ride fast. This Trek is highly recommended!

Good value for money bike

- Fred 16 August 2021

Good bike, initially ordered online and picked up in store. However, there it turned out that a larger frame size proved more appropriate for me.
