Very practical

- John, 16 August, 2025

This is my 3 Rollr and as I "missed" it, I bought it again after a break v 1.5yrs. I got tired of the Core after 2 years and switched to this model. Also, the Rollr seems improved as it makes considerably less noise than its predecessors. Convenience is top. However, the front clamp loosens after 10min and I have to keep an eye on it every now and then during the ride. The previous ones did not have this problem. Furthermore, the rear tyre wears a bit faster, but on the current simple Schwalbe One + tube it is not too bad and does not outweigh the convenience. Also, you can now use the trainer without a powermeter via update if you don't have one. You shouldn't ride races with it but for training more than okay. Mantel was quick, top

Pros & Cons

Convenience
Reasonably quiet
Smart
Front clamp gets loose(ser)
Slightly more rear tyre wear

Content man!

Very nice that I can easily put my bike in it in bad weather & also take it out quickly when the sun does come through. Takes up less space than I thought & was cobbled together very quickly. Only downside that escaped me is that it doesn't have a wattage tracker on it & I can't pedal on apps like swift because of this, but that too is solvable with an extra tool. Also delivered super fast.

Pros & Cons

Easily connects to apps
Easy to mount
Super nice to fully deploy my bike there
No wattage tracker on it

Very pleasant to ride, simple and effective.

I was looking for a HT for short sessions, without having to change the wheel and struggle between 10v and 11v bike K7s.

Perfect but a little noisy. Power sensor mandatory!

Super-easy installation. Perfect for days when the weather is fickle. Just put the bike down and ride. However, the power sensor is absolutely essential if you want to use applications like Zwift or others!

Pros & Cons

Easy to install
Sturdy
noisy
Power sensor required
