Only been in use for a year after always using oil and works super.

Practically every lubricant on the market already tried with this one coming out as the absolute winner, despite its minor drawbacks. I ride marathons, long distances and multi-hour races and this lubricant holds up extremely well in relatively dry weather. Rides of 150km go smoothly. If there is a fair amount of rain, the effect will dissipate more quickly, but even then a good 100km is still achievable if you don't intentionally ride through large puddles of water. Applying it is easy and if you do it right everything stays nice and clean.

To start with the downside; it takes some work to degrease your entire drivetrain (otherwise the stuff doesn't "stick"). So sprockets, chain (including a brand new one), derailleur wheels. But then! Jetz geht loss! No more degreasing, just wipe over the chain, apply wax, done! No grease on your hands or your clothes (or car upholstery). Your chain runs silently, doesn't attract grease and lasts much, much longer. Should have started using it much sooner.

I have long pushed me to use wax although I found the benefits very interesting. At some point I got myself up then times, everything degreased and cleaned. Started with my bike I drive in bad weather and immediately had the first rain ride. Why did I not use the wax earlier? The chain runs 1a, dirt does not adhere and the maintenance is much lower. Every 200 km is re-waxed, before briefly cleaned with a brush. I never drive again with oil!

Easy to apply and runs between the links very quickly. Then a quick wipe over the rag to remove any excess lube and done. Always cleaned my chain after a dusty ride, but it was hardly necessary: little to nothing sticks to the chain and it keeps running very smoothly. Not yet tested in the rain.

I like the chain lube very much the idea that the chain does not attract dirt. I do lubricate it every 300 km. So a long life.

I have been using this product for years on 3 different bikes. I am still enthusiastic about it. The dissolved solution contains just enough lubricant to lubricate the chain without dirt sticking to it. This dirt causes high chain wear and a dirty black chain. Pre-lube in the evening so that the lubricant can get into all the cracks and the water can evaporate.

Since I've known this brand, I haven't tried other lubricants. Got a tip from a colleague to use this lube because the dirt doesn't stick to your chain and that's right idd, it does need to dry for a while before you ride...so apply hour beforehand or right after cleaning after your ride....

I have been using Squirt for years on my road bike, my touring bike and my MTB. Do apply new Squirt very regularly and especially after a rain. Cleaning a new chain is very easy: after 24 hours in benzene a new chain is completely degreased and ready to use.

Best bike related invention since aerodynamic valve caps! I've been using squirt for 3-4 years and notice my chains last longer. After cycling wipe chain with a cloth, a few drops of squirt & everything is ready again. No grease, dirt & your drivetrain attracts little dirt.

I don't want anything else. Super simple to maintain. No more regular protracted dirty oil degreasing.... Just wipe the chain with an old dry rag, apply new squirt and done, 3min work. This best every 150/200km, so regular but oh so simple. Just because it is so simple and quickly done, I maintain my chain much more regularly. You can even do this inside, not dirty at all. First time is some work because you have to get that old sticky mess out of your chain. Before you apply squirt, thoroughly degrease the chain. I myself did this like this: Spray degreaser on chain and sprockets, let it soak in for 10 min, scrub with brushes and rinse with water and dry with old cloth. I had to do this thoroughly 3 times before the cloth I dried with didn't get dirty anymore. From then on you should never degrease, only use squirt. Alternatives attract and hold dirt. As a result, the mash on the chain gets rough from the dirt and the material wears off faster and makes more noise. In addition, dirty chain means that everything that meets it is also quickly dirty; legs, hands, car, pockets.... With the squirt this is much less.

The first time with chain wax has convinced me in bad weather. Removing the chains before waxing is quite time-consuming, but it's worth it.

Super stuff in dry weather. I have tried many lubricants and with Squirt I am finally satisfied. After each ride (60, 80, 100km) I spin the chain 2x while dripping Squirt on it and am ready for the next ride. The stuff continues to work even on long rides of 150-200km. Squirt reduces the noise from the drivetrain to a very slight hum from the derailleur wheels, which I have not been able to do with any other lubricant. To keep the chain creak-free, you have to reapply Squirt after every ride. The layer of wax does get thicker and thicker, and when it starts to puff out at the derailleur, it's time for the pressure washer. At least, I haven't yet come across a solvent that gets the tar-like substance off the drivetrain. Spinning around a few times and spraying vigorously from all sides, chain dried well and spun around 2x with Squirt. That chain maintenance can be quick is evidenced by the fact that most of the time goes into connecting and cleaning up the familiar yellow patio spray. I find Squirt less suitable for wet weather conditions. After just 60km, my chain starts creaking. I am not a fan of oil because it gives such a black smearing mess. But for longer distances and wet pavement, oil may be the better option. If you're going to hose down after a wet ride anyway, you might as well use oil. Since I am primarily a dry weather road racer, I stick with Squirt. Finally, with frost I don't experience any problems either.

This lube lubricates great in the winter on the MTB. This keeps the chain from jamming when it gets dirty. the chain is a bit sticky but without further problems. Definitely recommend it.

Had to get used to it , but you have much less work on the drive after a ride. Wear is really zero now with wax , I would say reduced by 100 percent in my case , I measure regularly with caliber. I'm not going back to that greasy oil anytime soon!

Been using this product for over 10 years. Done with smeared oil chains. Have previously used almost anything, oils, wax, you name it. Squirt has been the best for me. With a new chain I just ride the first miles with the greased chain, then thoroughly degrease and 2X member per member a drop of wax, so bottom and top of chain. Let it soak in overnight and wipe clean afterwards. After each ride, clean the chain with a cloth (cloth may contain a little degreaser or WD40, this helps to remove the outwardly worked black wax particles). Now coat the chain back link by link with a drop of wax. If you do not wipe the chain clean after every ride, the black dirty wax particles will accumulate everywhere, on the derailleur gears, between the sprockets of the cassette and of course on the chain itself. If these wax particles fall off and you accidentally take them into the house, the missus will love it....

I haven't cycled in the rain yet (hate me) but so far everything seems to be working very well. Very big advantage is also that everything stays looking nicer, chain, sprockets and cassette. After every ride, a quick sweep with a towel along the chain and it looks almost like new.

One of the worse lubricants, it is a product which I believe is in collaboration with cassette manufacturers. After 10 kilometers on the mountain bike in dry weather the drivetrain already started making more noise, after 15 kilometers I would have preferred to stop cycling. Everything done according to the instructions, but it did not give the desired result. Even after several coats the poor performance remained unchanged, therefore after a total of 250 kilometers I decided to stop using Squirt "lube".

Switched to wax years ago. Wouldn't want it any other way. One wipe over the chain and the chain is clean again. No more degreasing the chain and no more thick dirt on the derailleur wheels. Chain life at least the same as with oil. If I had to mention a disadvantage, it would be preparing a new chain for wax. It must be absolutely free of grease. But actually that is quite a nice job. You know that afterwards you will always ride around with a clean chain. On the internet you can find many videos on how to do this.
