Excellent wearing comfort

Have used the jacket a couple of times around 15 degrees and windy without base layers. Works well as a jumper in this heat. I'm sure it does its job at least as well when it's colder with a suitable base layer underneath. Take a size larger than your normal. I am 178 cm 75 kg and Large is fine.

Castelli is not the cheapest brand mantle sells. However, you do get a quality jacket in return! You can tell by the fit and the solidity. Thanks to the materials used, the jacket is really windproof but not too warm, making it a fine jacket that can be used for a wide range of temperatures.

Used 2x at 4graden only in combination with Craft Core Base Layer Long Sleeve Shirt and is perfect, doesn't let wind or rain through. I measure 1m85 and 74kg and took XL size after reading certain reviews, fits perfectly!

I already had the version 1 of this jacket - and that was also top notch. That was only a size Large and actually a bit too small. Now I ordered XL and it fits great. Just for the record: I am 1.82 and 76 kg. You can wear this jacket ALWAYS. In summer when it drizzles, in spring & autumn - and in winter with a thermo shirt underneath.

Lovely jacket for autumn, perfect for playing the country bumpkin. Not too thick, but by layering you will never get cold!

Jacket falls very nicely and fits very well. Quality radiates from it. I took the jacket 1 size larger than my normal size. Fast and neat delivery by Mantel. In low temperatures, just wear it with 2 shirts underneath. Around 10 with 1 underneath you will be fine.

Great purchase, Wish I had bought this jacket earlier, this jacket can be worn from 2* to 10* depending on which base layer you wear. It keeps you warm but still lets your skin breath.

Lovely hip jacket for cycling but also possibly other outdoor activities.

Cycled with it twice now. Temperatures of 6 to 7 degrees. Wind force 4 to 6 and light rain. I stayed pretty well warm, and no bother from the wind or drizzle. All in all, a very nice jacket.

The order had just arrived warm. I immediately unpacked the order, put it on and went for a ride on a rainy/windy day. The jacket was both windproof, waterproof and keeping warm. Enjoyed cycling in these weather conditions, the jacket really comes highly recommended!!!

Was looking for a jacket that was breathable on the one hand but also not too tight. This is a very nice jacket, stops the first shower, has a nice zip and is comfortable. In addition, it also keeps you warm when cycling a bit less hard after an effort. Cycle to work with it and with previous jackets I got cold in the city if you had a bit of exertion on a long road outside. That doesn't happen now. At around 10 degrees, only have a base-layer under it. Haven't tested in real cold yet.

Have used this jacket several times now in a short time, in cold (2 gr C) and wet conditions. Fit is fine. In combination with a Castelli undershirt I did not get cold or wet during heavy rain. Ventilation is easy to control with the special zippers to avoid sweating too much. Jacket is really high tech engineered. Thin, light and still warm and dry in winter conditions. Worth its price and definitely recommended. Do order size bigger indeed.
