Cons
There is not much choice in brake pads. For the best braking performance and long life of the brake edges, you should use Scope brake pads.
Due to the carbon rim brake structure, this wheel is less suitable for long mountain descents with the risk of blowouts or rim deformation.
For a DT Swiss wheel set with carbon rims the PRC series is recommended.
If you often ride on rough, sandy surfaces there is a chance that the black OXiC brake track may eventually show signs of wear.
There are no wheel bags included with the Scope S5 wheels.
