Pros
The internal rim width is 22 mm, which is 4 mm wider than the P 1800. This provides more comfort, stability and is suitable for wider road and cyclocross tyres.
The '23' in the name stands for the rim depth. There is also an 32 available. The 23 mm version provides more comfort and is lighter, while the 32 mm is stiffer and has better power transmission.
DT Swiss wheels guarantee tight spoke tension and can handle a maximum rider weight of 130 kg.
The CR 1600 wheels are a higher class in the DT Swiss range compared to the C 1800, these wheels have better bearing quality, are lighter and have better stiffness values.
The DT Swiss 350 hubs with the ratchet system engage quickly, ensuring fast acceleration after cornering.
These wheels are suitable for comfortable rides on road bikes, cyclocross or gravel bikes.

Weighing in at around 1728 grams, the wheels are not very heavy, but are not ideal for heavy climbing either.
The wider rim width does sacrifice some weight.
Ondanks dat het gewicht relatief laag is, kan dit voor wedstrijdrenners nog iets te hoog zijn. Voor een nog lager gewicht kun je kijken naar een DT Swiss wielset in de PRC serie.
30mm rims do add some weight compared to 23mm.
