The shoes are pricier than regular mountain bike shoes, although it does offer many advantages.
A single BOA with Velcro can't be adjusted as precisely as a double BOA.
Only the area around the pedal is full carbon, which makes the rest of the sole less stiff.
The carbon-reinforced sole may transmit some more vibration and feel rather hard during low-intensity rides; however, a stiff sole allows for very high pedalling efficiency.
