The Gazelle Bloom is the most complete family bike that makes life so much easier.
Safety first
Perhaps one of the best-known family bikes, the Gazelle Bloom C7! It is a bicycle that has been on the market for years, but always in a new jacket. This mum's bike, as it is often called but it is just as suitable for dads, is improved every year to ensure good safety and comfort. It makes going out with children without having to take the car super easy. There is room for a child at the front, for a child at the back and even panniers. This Bloom has a strong and robust frame and is equipped with all the necessary safety features!
The Gazelle Bloom is therefore the ideal, tough family bike!
Please note: The bike comes without the panniers and child seats shown in some of the pictures.
This safe and reliable mum's/dad's bike has a low entry, stable double kickstand and enough space between saddle and handlebars. This gives you more freedom of movement and control over the bike. There is also more than enough space for a front child seat. For additional safety, the bike is equipped with handlebar tilt protection.
Space for all your groceries
Thanks to the extra long rear carrier, there is room for both a child seat and a panniers. With the Gazelle Bloom you can therefore do your shopping with 2 children and leave the car at home!
Comfort for bike rides
Family bikes are designed to provide cycling comfort. The wide tyres and wide bars not only provide comfort but also a lot of control. With the fine Selle Royal saddle, everyone on the mum's/dad's bike can enjoy a wonderful family bike ride.
Smooth shifting and safe braking
With the Shimano Nexus 7-speed hub you have a wide range of gears to make good progress in headwinds, even though your son or daughter is in the front seat. The maintenance-free roller brakes guarantee reliable braking power.
Reliable quality
The last thing you want is to break down on the side of the road with your bike, especially if you have your kids with you. This is why Gazelle has equipped this bicycle with low-maintenance parts. The hub gear, roller brakes and hub dynamo are not affected by external influences, and wear little. The front light works on the aforementioned hub dynamo. However, the rear light does run on batteries, which you will sometimes have to replace.
Complete equipment
When you buy a bike, you naturally want to be able to cycle immediately. This Gazelle Bloom mum's/dad's bike is therefore fully equipped with beautiful transparent dress guards, a strong carrier strap and an ART-approved AXA Defender lock, which is also suitable for a plug-in chain if you want to park your bike extra safely in public.

Fine bike but for flat use or hills only with fit people

Fine bike in use, fits front child seat just fine. Handlebar lock and stand make the bike very stable when stationary. Heavy in weight though if you have to put the bike with child and luggage on/off the stand, or count up/down the pavement to put it in storage. I use the bike in Brussels with quite a few hills, quite tough at times even though I am sporty and fit. So maybe better electric version for people who are less fit or don't feel like sweating ;-) Pity it doesn't have more gears and lights are not very strong. But satisfied with it overall and for our current purpose.

Very nice mother's bike. Definitely worth the investment. Also very pleasant service at Mantel, they really take the time for you and everything was delivered quickly the next day, bike-ready.
