Cannondale Topstone Carbon 3 650b Gravel Bike

The Cannondale Topstone Carbon 3 is an excellent gravel bike for anyone who likes to tear around the gravel at high speed and in comfort.

Comfortable and fast at the same time
Cannondale has developed a gravel bike that lets you complete your gravel rides comfortably and quickly. The suspension elements and an excellent set-up provide enormous cycling pleasure both on and off the tarmac.

Very comfortable frame
The basis of the Topstone Carbon 3 is the innovative carbon frame. This frame is very light and stiff, allowing you to sit stable and controlled on the gravel bike. Moreover, you also have access to the OutFront handlebar geometry, which provides a combination between fast steering and stability. The fork on the Topstone is also made of carbon, which handles uneven road surfaces well. For just that extra bit of comfort, Cannondale uses the improved Kingpin suspension system. This suspension system uses certain flex zones, allowing the seat tube and chainstay to bend slightly. This leads to extra comfort compared to an unsprung frame, allowing you to keep biking easily even on the tiring lanes.

Sturdy equipment
Shifting gears on this bike is done with the Shimano GRX groupset. This is a group specially made for riding over unpaved trails. This groupset therefore shifts properly, even in difficult conditions. This 2x11 drivetrain comes with an 11-34 cassette. This gives you a huge gear range, so you can conquer even the steepest trails in a fine gear. On descents, you can rely on Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. These brakes deliver plenty of stopping power, even in poor conditions. Moreover, these brakes have excellent modulation, allowing you to cut corners in a controlled manner.

Versatile in use
Cannondale uses the WTB Sendero TCS tyres. These 650b tyres are excellent for fast and aggressive riding. Naturally, they offer the option of tubeless riding. Tubeless riding lowers rolling resistance and reduces the risk of punctures. Furthermore, the gravel bike has several mounting points, making it also excellent for a bikepacking adventure.
