Scope R4.G Laufräder Gravel Bike

The Scope R4.G gravel wheelset is perfect for gravel and dirt roads. With their 45 mm rim height, the wheels are fast on the flat, and with their low weight of around 1439 grams, they ride very lightly. In this wheelset, Scope applies all the technologies previously developed for road wheels. Thanks to technology from the innovative Artech series, the rim shape has been optimised to minimise drag. Thanks to Algorithm Enhanced Aerodynamics (AEA), the rim shape has also been optimised to minimise side winds. Thus, these wheels perform great in all weather conditions. The Diamond Ratchet system ensures direct engagement, converting all power output directly into forward energy.

Importantly, these wheels have a very modern and generous 28 mm inner rim width so that wider gravel tyres fit perfectly and you can get the most out of those. A wider rim gives a tyre more space and, therefore, more volume, which is advantageous in terms of comfort, grip and rolling resistance.

The Scope R4.G wheelset features durable SKF bearings with good sealing and low rolling resistance. The sealing of the hubs has been greatly improved, resulting in longer bearing life. Thanks to pre-applied tubeless rim tape, making the tyres tubeless is easy. The fact that there is no weight limit for these wheels underlines their strength and reliability.

3 Years warranty
Quality is Scope's number one priority. By registering the wheelset on the Scope website within 30 days of purchase, you will activate the 3-year warranty. In the registering process you will have to enter the serial number, which can be found on the supplied registration card, the wheel box or on the flange of the rear hub.

Lifetime Crash Replacement programme
Despite its high quality, a Scope wheelset may get damaged in a severe crash. Scope offers, in addition to the 3-year warranty, a crash replacement programme to give you the chance to replace one or two wheels after a crash at a reduced rate.

Algorithm Enhanced Aerodynamics (AEA)
The rim shape of Scope wheels has been developed using Algorithm Enhanced Aerodynamics (AEA) technology, with the algorithm calculating the most aerodynamic rim profile to ensure optimal performance.

Hub system
Scope's hub system has been re-engineered. Proven characteristics such as the wide flange spacing (for high lateral stiffness), custom-made oversized (6803/6903) SKF bearings and the tool-free adapter system have been kept and refined where possible. Besides the SKF bearings, CeramicSpeed bearings remain available as an upgrade for the Race series.

Diamond Ratchet SL system
The Diamond Ratchet freehub system is a newly developed engagement system which ensures that all power output is transferred to the wheel even faster. The standard 36T ratchet ring can optionally be replaced with a 48T ring, making your freehub engage even faster when accelerating. The system is compatible with all Shimano, Shimano Micro Spline, SRAM XDR, Campagnolo and Campagnolo N3W groupsets.

Tubeless system
The geometry of the Scope Tubeless System makes for easy mounting, direct inflation, long-lasting pressure and compatibility with all (tubeless) tyres.

Local Reinforcement technology
To reduce the wheel's weight significantly while maintaining its strength and stiffness, Scope uses Local Reinforcement carbon technology to increase the number of carbon layers around the spoke holes on the inside of the rim.
