The XT M8000 is completely redesigned, is equipped with the latest 11 speed technologies, and the looks are also upgraded compared to the old groupset. This groupset is made for every sort of mountain biker, whether you ride cross-country, enduro or trail: the XT M8000 has something to offer for everyone.

Technologies:
SideWing
This groupset comes with a side swing front derailleur. The derailleur is more powerful, ensures more clearance for wide tyres and has a better cable routing. The downside is that your frame has to be suited for a Side Swing derailleur.

I Spec II
The XT M8000 groupset is just like the XTR groupset fitted with the I-Spec II mount for brakes and shifters. I-Spec ensures your shifters are neatly placed in the clamp of the brake. The connection can not be used with the old I-Spec A/B type.
