Welcome to the world of 1x11 powertrains. The Shimano Deore XT M8000 single groupset offers simplicity. The 1x11 won’t give you chainsuck or botched gear changes. Omission of unnecessary material reduces the weight.

XT guarantees a great price / quality ratio. The XT M8000 is completely redesigned. Not only is the XT M8000 provided with the newest 11-speed technologies, the design also has had an update compared to the old groupset.

The 1x11 tooth profile combines wide steel teeth with special designed teeth that keep the chain on the rings, also on rough terrain. These improvements increase the clamping force with 150%, so the chain lasts longer and slipped-off chains belong to the past.

• I Spec II
The XT M8000 is, just as l the XTR group, equipped with the I-Spec II fixation for brakes and shifters. I-Spec conceals the shifters in the brake clamps. Not suitable for the older I-Spec A/B type.

• Rhythm Step
The name says it all: The Rhythm Step disk has a calculated ratio with smaller transitions between one gear and the other, because there is nothing more annoying than faltering gear changes. This technology prevents that, so you can keep your focus on the trails and the climbs.

• Rider Tuned 11 speed
Shimano understand that every ride is different. That is why the crankset for the XT M8000 is suitable for both single chain rings as well as double chainrings. Combined with the 11-40 or 11-42 chainring the set can handle every terrain.
