Description
Riders of the World Tour Team IAM Cycling have been testing the tyre during Paris-Roubaix and were very excited. For riders and tyres there is almost no tougher test than the cobblestones of Paris-Roubaix. It was here that Martin Elmiger finished 5th with the Pro One Micro Skin Fluorescent!
You can also ride the Schwalbe Pro One with an inner tube. However, its true power manifests itself in the tubeless setup.

Fantastic tubeless tyres with excellent road feel
I’ve been using Schwalbe Pro One tubeless tyres for last 3 years on my Canyon Inflite commute bike. Excellent tyres and all the better when small punctures are quickly sealed by The liquid latex sealant. First time I’ve use the Doc Blue sealant and so far so good.

Easy to fit! Fast and grip well to the road! Look nowhere else than the Pro 1 tyre... plus great The great community of Mantel will look after you well during and after your purchase.

Not puncture proof and sealant doesn't seal
Ok, so reading how great these tyres are used tubless with sealant I invested £150- tyres, rim tape, sealant and fitting- not cheap. I am now on my fourth tyre the first two going in to the bin with holes about 3mm that wouldn't seal even with plugs after about 500 miles each. Still I persevered. Just fitted a brand new tyre with new sealant set up by my bike shop. Second ride it punctured, about 1.5mm max, and that's on the outside, so smaller internally probably. Been riding it over a week now, still leaking sealant and refusing to seal even when left 48 hours, god knows how they think it would ever seal 6-8mm. So....expensive......not puncture resistant....and dont seal.....plus the added benefit that you get to throw them away after about a third of their useful life! Back to tubes I guess until they actually develop a system that does what it says on the can - you can see the size of the puncture on the photo with most of the sealant wiped off, it's a bit difficult to spot though- photos over a week after the puncture
