Pros & Cons

  • The lightly rolling Schwalbe G-One is a top tyre to ride on the field and forest roads.
  • Due to the light tread this tyre has a very low rolling resistance in dry and hardened conditions.
  • The double compound of the performance line is slightly less flexible than the triple compound of the G-One evolution line, so the rolling resistance is slightly higher.

Detailed product description

Performance Line
These tyres are great value for money for frequent users. The rubber compound used for this type of tyre is called Dual Compound. Two different rubber compounds ensure optimal performance.

Dual Compound
The Dual Compound name refers to the 2 different types of rubber used to create the tyre. The main running track in the middle is made from a more rugged type of rubber, ensuring a longer lifespan and decreasing the rolling resistance. The sides are made using a softer compound to optimise your grip. These tyres last longer, but offer slightly less grip than tyres which use the Pacestar compound in the Evolution line.
