Pros
The Campagnolo Bora One 50 wheels are lightweight, stiff and have aerodynamic properties.
Thanks to an internal rim width of 17 mm, 25 mm tyres fit nicely on the rim and you can lower the rolling resistance even further.
The hubs in these wheels use very smooth-running USB ceramic cup cone bearings.
The AC3 brake edge technology ensures better braking performance in all weather conditions.
G3 spoke pattern saves weight by using fewer spokes and improves power transmission and stiffness through the optimal distribution between left and right.
The Zipp 404 wheels are oriented towards pure speed with their 58 mm deep rims. Thanks to optimum aerodynamics, you can ride faster without any extra effort.
Both tubeless tyres and folding tyres can be mounted on the rims. This makes it possible to ride tubeless, with advantages such as lower rolling resistance, better grip and more comfort.
The Zipp ZR1 hubs, developed in Germany, have bearings with a good seal and improved durability. The 6-pawl body engages super quickly, minimising energy loss when accelerating.
Lifelong warranty on production faults, except for wear and tear. Ultimate security!
Cons
Maybe not the first choice for a Shimano-mounted racing bike, but it is a possibility.
The Sapim CX Sprint J-bend spokes provide more comfort than straight pull spokes, but give less stiffness to the wheel.
The carbon braking surface makes this wheel less suitable for long mountain descents with the risk of a blowout or rim deformation.
